Used to be that when we gave last minute instructions to our Vegas Voyagers all we had to do is remind them to bring along ID like a driver’s license or, if traveling internationally, don’t forget your passport. Today it’s not so simple.
As many of you know, today when travelling out of town, you better have your covid ID card, you better know what the local (Where you’re traveling to) covid protocols are and what each country, and or State’s, entrance requirements are. And no two countries, cities or states may be the same.
And here’s the big issue; you as the traveler better know the rules and regulations, or you may be denied entry to where you’re going or allowed on that cruise ship your embarking. It is on you to know. Ignorance, as it is said is no defense. In addition, any cruise line, airline or hotel penalties, in all likelihood will be your responsibility. These travel suppliers might work with you but they may not for the reasons stated above.
Your best bet is to call us here at the VEGAS VOYAGERS as we can help you through the maze of travel “craziness” in this day and age. We are always here to help.
Changing subjects; here is some very big VEGAS VOYAGER news. Finally, after years of hoping for a VEGAS VOYAGERS group trip to ALASKA, we have a date for this trip. We will be sailing on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Quantum of the Seas round trip from Seattle August 29 thru September 5, 2022. Ports of call will include Ketchikan, Sitka and Juneau in Alaska and Victoria in Canada.
We have secured inside and balcony staterooms. The price for an Inside cabin is $989 per person and for a Balcony cabin $1,259 per person based on double occupancy. These prices include the cruise, all port charges taxes and fees, a group cocktail party and other group only amenities that will be announced shortly. Airfare to Seattle is additional.
I have never seen the prices so low for an Alaska cruise. It is usually hundreds of dollars per person more. And the Quantum of the Seas is a state of the art ship with all the “bells and whistles”. Suffice it to say this will be one VEGAS VOYAGER trip not to forget. Call for details at 516-485-3200,
Finally be sure to attend our next VEGAS VOYAGER meeting Friday March 25, 2022 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at the McDonald Ranch Community Center located at 2020 West Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson. Please RSVP to 516-485-3200 or fairtravel@aol.com.
