The world is still upside down. I’m watching hockey in August as the N.Y. Islanders are still. In the Stanley Cup playoffs. Twenty four teams started and now we are down to eight teams. The Islanders are playing the Flyers and just won game one of the series. Just crazy. Over 172,000 have died in the US from the virus. There is still no real national plan to solve the problem.
We are in the middle of a presidential campaign and I just can’t believe that we have a president who has shown no ability to rationally resolve any of our problems. He believes everyone is against him and only he can solve the problems of the country. And the only way he can lose the election is if the Democrats cheat. It is surreal. The Republican Party should change its name to the Trumpikan Party. They just bow down to his whims and wishes as if he was a dictator. It’s scary.
