So I think it’s forty years ago maybe to the day that I was admitted o the New York State Bar and became a licensed lawyer. Where has the time gone. So much water under the bridge. I was a kid the day I became a lawyer, 26 years old. I hadn’t even met Sharon yet. That would come within a few months.
I graduated law school in May of 1978. I went to Northern Illinois University College of Law , back then known as Lewis University. For a brand new law school, I think I got a very good legal education. I met some really good people, people I still keep in touch to this day. My best friend Dan I speak to at least two or three times a week. And I just heard from Bob Fioretti a good friend who was a Chicago city Alderman and ran unsuccessfully for mayor. We could talk tomorrow and pick up right where we left off.
I’ve been very lucky with family and friends. I have a great family and a small circle of good friends who have been there all a long the way.
