Typical day in the caronavirus.era. Stay at home. Do some exercise and stay away from people. Walked 4 miles today. But it’s just a different day but the same thing. Little things start to be important. So for example the local Starbucks reopened for curbside pickup so I was able to get my ice coffee. I am just hoping we can get back to some semblance of normalcy. I would just like to take the family to the diner for breakfast. When will that be able to happen again? If you believe some of the pandemic experts it could be year and years before anything like normal comes back. Might not even be in my lifetime. One expert went so far as to say until there is a universal vaccine that could be given to everyone on the world, there will be no normal.
But mom is still staying with us and she is telling some stories if I ask her. She remembers how it was like during WWII. She’s handling what’s going on now pretty well. But the war years were pretty bad too.
