Over 80,000 deaths from the virus here in the United States. And 40,000 of those are here in the New York metro area. It is as bad as it gets. But , as mentioned earlier, the number of people getting the virus is going down. Hospital admissions are going down and the daily death rate is going down.
And now the discussion has turned to opening up the country, lifting the restrictions and getting people back to work vs. the effect that will, have on increasing the amount of people getting the virus. Are more deaths and sickness worth opening up the country? People want to work. It’s a big problem.
I want to work. I want the businesses opened up. But I also,do not want to get sick. I’ve had way too much of that in the past year. By just going to,work I could get sick. By just going to,the grocery store I could get sick. It is a big dilemma.
So I think I will go back to visiting my life for a while. It’s not, all, that much fun writing about this crazy virus. I need to tell some stories.
