While I was in the hospital for my mitral valve repair the care I got from the nurses,k doctors’ aides, therapists was excellent. I told them all how grateful I was for the care I received.
Fast forward to today and the care these people are providing under circumstances where they could become sick themselves, is just unbelievable. They are truly saving the world.
As are all the truck drivers, delivery people, grocery store clerks and all the people who go to,work every day in high volume locations just so,we can get food and fill prescriptions. These are just every day people, doing every day work that we have always taken for granted. They are hero’s.
I,wish there was something I could do. But my doctors tell me I need to,stay at home and avoid the risk as I am still really recovering from my heart surgery and pacemaker implant. It is a bit of a helpless feeling and this staying at home routine over all these months, since last July is getting old. But this is what my life has mostly been about these last 10 months.
I did get to go to Europe in October and did get to Mexico in January. Actually I was in Italy November 9 thru 12 and got there really just before carona devastated Italy. Who know if and when I will do any traveling. We will see.
