LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHILE YOU’RE MAKING PLANS. I may have expressed this sentiment in a previous column, but not recently. What I know is I am always making plans. Mostly plans to travel. It’s what I like to do. To go and see places I’ve never been before. Or, to go back to a favorite destination and revisit. I also have plans to see that latest Broadway musical or most current blockbuster movie.
And then life gets in the way. Life Happens. Stuff happens. Like, for example babysitting the grandkids, working weekends at the travel agency, taking mom for her doctors’ appointment. Yes, this 65-year-old senior citizen has a 90-year-old mom. I am very lucky. You get the idea.
So I look around and almost a year has gone by doing daily things, and I realized that we have not had a VEGAS VOYAGERS meeting in a long time. Might be close to a year. I am not happy about that. I enjoy our VEGAS VOYAGER meetings. I enjoy telling you all about our upcoming trips. I really enjoy hearing what all the “VOYAGERS” have to say about their travel adventures.
With all this in mind I am happy to announce that we will hold two VEGAS VOYAGER meetings on Monday February 4th. Our first meeting. For those who live in Henderson will be at 9:30 in the morning at the Revere Golf Club in Buckman’s the golf club’s restaurant. Our second meeting for Summerlin residents will be at the Sun Coast Casino in the Fairway conference Center at 2:00 pm. We will have presentations from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess Cruise Lines. In addition, we will have a presentation about our September 2019 Holy Land (Israel) trip. There will be a lot to talk about.
Finally, we are gearing up for our second PHAT PACK cruise on the Princess Cruise Line’s Ruby Princess, January 26 – February 2. We have close to 100 folks joining our Mexican Riviera Phat Pack musical cruise, Here’s the good news, there is still space available at our original prices for those of you who want to join us. While sailing the Mexican Riviera we will also have at least three Phat Pack performances, a private cocktail party and other Phat Pack features. Just give us a call at 800-698-1101 and we will give you full details. And remember, the PHAT PACK cruise includes the round-trip bus transportation from Las Vegas to the pier in Los Angeles. Just like last year, this is going to be a memorable cruise.
