It is a never ever ending struggle to find great vacation opportunities for the Vegas Voyagers. You see our travel model is a little bit different than most travel clubs or groups. The Vegas Voyagers is really centered around group travel. Yes, we will help our “Voyagers” with individual travel plans. We have planned many of these vacations for folks over the years. But our emphasis is on our group travel departure dates.
And the one kind of trip that really resonates with our Vegas Voice readers, and Vegas Voyagers, is the “Bus to the Boat”. Over the years we are probably approaching 50 different buses to cruises either from Los Angeles, Long Beach or San Diego. Every one of these trips has been either to the Mexican Riviera, along the coast of California or to Hawaii. These are the only itineraries offered.
Until now! I am very pleased and happy to announce a “Bus to the Boat” for an Alaska cruise coming up this summer August 28, 2016. That’s right, take a bus to Alaska. Here’s how it works.
The Vegas Voyagers will embark on a 10 night Alaska cruise departing from San Francisco. The cruise is actually Monday August 29 thru Thursday September 8th. However, our bus will depart on Sunday August 28th from our usual pick up spots, the Red Rock Resort and the M Resort. Since the bus ride is about 9 to 10 hours, with at least two stops along the way and arriving around 5:00 pm, we are including in the price an overnight stay in the San Francisco in the price of the package. Upon completion of the cruise our bus will be scheduled todepart San Francisco at 10:00 am arriving back in Las Vegas about 8 pm.
Our official bus coach company Vision Coach will supply state of the art buses and the proper driver staffing to ensure safety, security and comfort along the way. Vision Coach has assured us smooth sailing (no pun intended) for the bus portion of the trip.
Believe it or not prices for this 11 night cruise package starts at just $1,999 per person for an inside cabin. that includes the cruise, all port charges, taxes and fees, round trip bus transportation and the one night hotel stay. All we ask is that at least 10 double cabins be booked for this trip.
Just think of it, a nice leisurely drive from Las Vegas to San Francisco, an overnight stay prior to the cruise, a 10 night ALASKA CRUISE on the GRAND PRINCESS, and no airport security lines, no taking off your shoes, and belts and other garments to pass through security and no transfers from the airport to the pier. We’ll pull right up to the front door of the pier and you’ll walk right on to the ship.
